Tremendous Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Tremendous to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Tremendous to Fivetran, you need a Tremendous user account with either the Admin or Developer role.
Setup instructions
Find environment
- Log in to your Tremendous account.
- Find your Tremendous account environment and make a note of it.
- If your environment is a live account, then your environment is
Production
. - If your environment is a test account, then your environment is
Sandbox
.
- If your environment is a live account, then your environment is
Register application
- Click Team settings > Developers in the left navigation menu.
- Click Register app in the Developer apps section.
- Enter an App Name and a Description.
- Enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/tremendous/oauth2/return
in the Redirect URI field. - Make a note of the client ID and client secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Note: If you can't register an application, reach out to Tremendous' Support Team.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Select the Tremendous account environment you found.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret you registered.
- Click Authorize to allow Fivetran access to your Tremendous account using OAuth. Log in to your Tremendous account. Once logged in, you are redirected back to Fivetran.
IMPORTANT: We recommend logging in while in Incognito mode to ensure authorization of the correct account.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Tremendous data.
