Amazon Ads
Amazon Ads is an advertising service that uses the pay-per-click model. Sellers only pay when shoppers click sellers' ads. We support the following Amazon Ads services:
- Sponsored Products are the standard product listings that appear in the search results and product detail pages. They’re pay-per-click, keyword-targeted display ads for individual products. The link leads to the product details listing page.
- Sponsored Brands showcase your brand and multiple products in a single ad unit.
- Sponsored Display extends your reach beyond search results to target audiences both on and off Amazon.

Setup guide
Follow our step-by-step Amazon Ads setup guide to connect Amazon Ads with your destination using Fivetran connectors.
Sync overview
Amazon Ads uses the time zone set by the profile to request the report. Reports are only available for a limited number of days ago. Therefore, we synchronize each historical report only within the allowed period.
Reports | Retention period |
---|---|
Sponsored Products | 95 days |
Sponsored Display | 60 days |
Sponsored Brands Version 2 | 60 days |
Sponsored Brands Version 3 | 95 days |
SB_BENCHMARK_BRAND_AND_CATEGORY_REPORT | 90 days |
Rollback sync
A rollback sync is a sync that automatically runs once a day. Rollback syncs capture the changes that happen outside the incremental sync time frame.
Rollback syncs for Sponsored Display and Sponsored Products reports depend on the Attribution Window setting.
Rollback syncs for Sponsored Brands reports always use 14 days and don't depend on the Attribution Window setting. According to the Amazon's documentation:
Sponsored Brands reporting data cannot be combined with Sponsored Products data into one report. Only 14-day data is available for Sponsored Brands. Attribution windows of 1, 7, and 30-day intervals are not available.

This schema applies to all Amazon Ads connectors.

The Amazon Ads connector doesn't support the creation of empty tables and columns in your destination.
We create a table in the destination only if we can retrieve the relevant data from the source. If Amazon Ads doesn’t return data for the source table, we don’t create the table in your destination.
