Supported deployment models
We support the SaaS Deployment model for the connector.
Source API version
This connector uses the OpenAI Ads Advertiser API v1.
Setup guide
Follow our step-by-step OpenAI Ads setup guide to connect OpenAI Ads with your destination using Fivetran connectors.
Sync overview
During every sync, we re-import the metadata tables, which reflect the current state of your OpenAI Ads account.
We incrementally sync the prebuilt AD_REPORT_DAILY report and any custom reports you add.
Rollback sync
A rollback sync is a sync that automatically runs once a day. Rollback syncs capture the changes that happen outside the incremental sync time frame. The rollback window for an OpenAI Ads report depends on its time granularity:
| Time granularity | Rollback window |
|---|---|
| Monthly | 30 days |
| Daily | 14 days |
| Hourly | 3 days |
Schema information
This schema applies to all OpenAI Ads connections.
We provide the following types of tables:
- Prebuilt reports, which sync a pre-defined set of fields. We have a corresponding pre-defined table on the Schema tab that you can enable or disable.
- Custom reports, which require you to select the aggregation level, time granularity, segment, and fields you want to sync in the connection setup form.
- Metadata tables reflecting the current state of your ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, and ads.
Metadata tables
We sync the following metadata tables and their child tables by default:
AD_ACCOUNTCAMPAIGNCAMPAIGN_CONVERSION_EVENT_SETTINGCAMPAIGN_CUSTOM_AUDIENCECAMPAIGN_TARGETING_COUNTRYCAMPAIGN_TARGETING_GEO_LOCATION
AD_GROUPAD_GROUP_BID_MULTIPLIERAD_GROUP_CONTEXT_HINTAD_GROUP_PRODUCT_SET_FILTERAD_GROUP_PRODUCT_SET_FILTER_VALUE
AD
You can enable or disable any of these tables individually on the connection's Schema tab.
Limitations
Your report's historical sync starts on January 1, 2026, or at the API's history limit on the day of your first sync, whichever is later. The API keeps 30 days' worth of data for Hourly reports and reports segmented by Product, and 365 days' worth of data for all other reports. For more information, see historical syncs.
Rate limits
The OpenAI Ads API limits requests to 600 per minute per endpoint and 1,200 per minute overall, per ad account and IP address. We automatically retry requests that are throttled.
