OpenAI Ads Setup Guide Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect OpenAI Ads to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect OpenAI Ads to Fivetran, you need an active OpenAI Ads advertiser account and an Advertiser API key, which is scoped to a single ad account.
If you are unable to find your API credentials, contact OpenAI Support.
Setup instructions
Find API key
- Log in to your OpenAI Ads account.
- Go to Settings in Ads Manager.
- Create an Advertiser API key.
- Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the API Key you found.
- Click Validate API Key.
- Optionally, click + Custom report to add one or more custom reports. For each report, enter a unique Destination table name and select the Time granularity, Aggregation level, Segment, and Report fields you want to sync.
The prebuilt
AD_REPORT_DAILYreport and all metadata tables are added by default.Once you save a report, its Destination table name, Time granularity, Aggregation level, and Segment become permanent. You can still edit Report fields later, but to change any of the other settings you must add a new custom report.
- Click Save & Test. We sync your OpenAI Ads data.
