Warning: Cannot Unselect – Core Tables Cannot Be Blocked (CONTENTVERSION Table)

Issue

When you try to deselect the CONTENTVERSION table in the Schema tab, the following warning appears:

Cannot unselect – Core tables cannot be blocked.

Environment

Resolution

To resolve this issue, disable the Sync Salesforce Files setting:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Salesforce connection page.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Set the Sync Salesforce Files to your destination's object storage toggle to OFF.
5. Click Save & Test.
6. Select the Schema tab and clear the checkbox next to ContentVersion.

Cause

This issue occurs when the Sync Salesforce Files to your destination's object storage setting is enabled. When enabled, Fivetran treats CONTENTVERSION as a core table, which means it can't be deselected.
