Uptempo Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Uptempo to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

• To connect Uptempo to Fivetran, you need an Uptempo account with API access.
• Client ID and Client secret.

Setup instructions

Create app

1. Log in to your Uptempo 8.0 system as Administrator.
2. Navigate to Administration → Fusion → Registered Apps.
3. Click Register New App.
4. Fill in the required information:
   • Application name
   • Permissions/scopes
5. In the Redirect URL field, enter https://fivetran.com/integrations/uptempo/oauth2/return.
6. Click Save.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. In the Subdomain drop-down menu, select the subdomain that corresponds to your account's host region.
3. Enter the Client ID and Client secret.
4. Enter the Tenant and User Email which you will get in uptempo.

5. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.

6. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Uptempo data.
