SonarQube Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect SonarQube to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect SonarQube to Fivetran, you need a SonarQube account with Administrator privileges.
Setup instructions
Find subdomain
Find your subdomain in your SonarQube URL and make a note of it. For example:
- If your SonarQube URL is
https://sonarqube.my-company.com
, then your subdomain issonarqube.my-company.com
. - If your SonarQube URL is
https://sonarqube.my-company.com.au
, then your subdomain issonarqube.my-company.com.au
.
Create user token
Sign in to SonarQube as a user with Administrator privileges.
Click on your account icon and then select My Account.
Go to the Security tab.
Enter a name for your token.
In the Type drop-down menu, select User Token
In the Expires in drop-down menu, select the duration for which you want the token to remain active.
Click Generate.
Make a note of the token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Subdomain you found in Step 1.
In User token field, enter the token that you generated in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your SonarQube data.
