Why Are My Deleted Records Still Active?
Question
I have enabled read permissions for the sys_audit_delete table in ServiceNow. Why do deleted records still appear as active in my destination?

Answer
Deleted records may remain active for either of the following reasons:
- The ServiceNow
sys_audit_deletetable only captures deletions for tables with auditing enabled. You must enable auditing separately for each parent and child table. - Deletes performed by background scripts, business rules, import sets, direct database operations, automated cleanup jobs, or bulk data management scripts may bypass the normal audit trail.
