Klaviyo Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Klaviyo to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Klaviyo to Fivetran, your Klaviyo user account must have Owner, Admin, or Manager permissions.
Setup instructions
Begin Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter your chosen destination schema name.
In the Destination schema names field, choose one of the following to determine how the schema names appear in your destination:
- Fivetran naming (default): Use this option if you want to standardize the names for your schemas, tables, and columns.
- Source naming: Use this option to preserve the original source names for your schemas, tables, and columns.
If you want to modify your selection, make sure you do it before the initial sync completes.
Click Authorize to authorize Fivetran to access your Klaviyo account.
(Optional) In the Historical sync time frame drop-down menu, select the amount of historical data you want to include in your initial sync.
- If you choose Sync data from selected date, enter a date in the Historical Sync Limit Date field.
(Optional) If you do not want to sync events associated with deleted profiles, set the Sync events linked to deleted profiles toggle to OFF.
Choose the Pack Mode for custom fields.
(Optional) Add report
- Click + Add report if you want to sync a custom report.
- Enter a Name for the report. The name must be unique within this connection.
- Select the Type for the report.
- Select the Interval for the report.
- Select the list of Statistics that you want to retrieve as part of the report.
- Select the Conversion metric for the report.
- Click Save.
- To add another report, repeat steps 1 – 7.
- To remove an added report, click Remove report.
Finish Fivetran configuration
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Klaviyo data.
