HappyFox Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect HappyFox to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect HappyFox to Fivetran, you need a HappyFox account with API access.

Log in to your HappyFox account.
Find the region in which your account is hosted in your HappyFox URL and make a note of it. For example:
- If your URL is https://fivetran.happyfox.net/, your account is hosted in the Europe region.
- If your URL is https://fivetran.happyfox.com/, your account is hosted in the other region.

In the HappyFox dashboard, go to Apps > Goodies > API.
Click Enable.
Go to the API Keys section and click +.
Enter a Name for your API key and then click Add new API Key.
In the API Keys section, hover over the API key you added and then click See Auth Code.
Make a note of the API Key and Auth Code. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
In the Region drop-down menu, select the account host region you found in Step 1.
Enter the API key and Auth code you found in Step 2.
Enter your HappyFox Account Name.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your HappyFox data.
