Due to changes introduced by Google Play, we've made the following updates:

• We added the sales_channel column to the EARNINGS and SALES tables.
• We updated the data type of the product_type column in the EARNINGS table from integer to string.
• We renamed the base_plan_id column to base_plan_or_purchase_option_id in the EARNINGS and SALES tables.
• We renamed the product_id column to package_id in the EARNINGS and SALES tables.

We unified each connector’s pre-built dbt Core*–compatible data models into a single model. It standardizes and documents the Fivetran schemas created in your destination and outputs analytics-ready tables. Previously, most connectors used distinct source and transform models.

Fivetran has created a dbt Core*-compatible app reporting model that aggregates data from our most popular app platform connectors into a unified table. This pre-built model allows you to compare your app activity by device, country, OS version, traffic source, and subscription levels.

The app reporting model supports the Apple App Store and Google Play connectors.

We now support two new Store Performance statistics reports, stats_store_performance_country and stats_store_performance_traffic_source. We are gradually rolling out this change to all existing connections.

We have improved the way we track which files we have already synced to make sure we only pull new or changed data from the source containers. Previously, we re-synced files that were created at the same time as the last observed cursor position. That ensured that we never missed any files that were created while we were syncing your data. That also meant that we sometimes synced the same files twice. Now, in addition to tracking the timestamp, we also track the names of the files we have already synced. We store up to 1,000 file names. We sync files created at the time of the last observed cursor position only if we don’t have the file in our list of synced files for that timestamp.

You can now configure your Google Play connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.
