Freshchat Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Freshchat to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Freshchat to Fivetran, you need a Freshchat account.
Setup instructions
Find subdomain
Find your subdomain in your Freshchat URL. For example, if your URL is https://fivetran3.freshchat.com/, then your subdomain is fivetran3.
Generate API token
Log in to your Freshchat account.
On the navigation menu, click Admin.
On the Admin page, click API Tokens.
On the API Tokens page, click Generate Token.
Make a note of the API token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
- Enter the Subdomain you found in Step 1.
- Enter the API Token you created in Step 2.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your Freshchat account.
