Why is the campaign_id field missing from the ACTION_PRODUCT_ID, BASIC_AD, and BASIC_ALL_LEVELS prebuilt report tables?

Answer

The Facebook Ads API doesn't return the campaign_id field for reports that query data at the ad or ad set level. As a result, the field isn't available in the ACTION_PRODUCT_ID, BASIC_AD, or BASIC_ALL_LEVELS prebuilt report tables.

If you need the campaign_id field, use the BASIC_CAMPAIGN prebuilt report or create a custom report that includes it. For more information, see Facebook Ads Custom Reports.
