Clockify Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Clockify to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Clockify to Fivetran, you need a Clockify account.

Generate API key

1. Log in to your Clockify account.
2. In the top right corner, click the profile icon and select Preferences.
3. Go to the ADVANCED tab and click GENERATE.
4. In the Generate API key window, click GENERATE.
5. Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Find server region

Find your server region in your Clockify URL and make a note of it.

• If your URL is https://euc1.clockify.me/xxxxx, then your server region is EU (Germany).
• If your URL is https://use2.clockify.me/xxxxx, then your server region is USA.
• If your URL is https://euw2.clockify.me/xxxxx, then your server region is UK.
• If your URL is https://apse2.clockify.me/xxxxx, then your server region is AU.
• If your URL is in any format different from the examples listed above, then your server region is Others.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. Enter the API key you generated.
3. In the Server region drop-down menu, select the server region you found.
4. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
5. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Clockify data.
