Sprout Social Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Sprout Social to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Sprout Social to Fivetran, you need:
A Sprout Social account
A Premium Analytics add-on
NOTE: To get the Premium Analytics add-on, contact the Sprout Social support
Setup instructions
Create API access token
- Log in to Sprout Social as an Account Owner.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Scroll down to the reporting section and click API Tokens.
- Accept Sprout’s Analytics API Terms of Service, if you haven’t already.
- Click Create API Token in the upper left corner.
- Enter a name for your token.
- Make a note of the token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the API Token.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your Sprout Social account.
