Salsify Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Salsify to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Salsify to Fivetran, you need a Salsify account.

Setup instructions

Get API key

Log in to your Salsify account.
In the top-right corner, click your profile name and then select My Profile.
On the User Profile page, navigate to the API Access tab.
Click Show API key.
In the Get API key pop-up, enter your password and click Ok.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Find Organization ID

Find the organization ID in your Salsify URL and make a note of it. You can find the ID immediately after /orgs/ in the URL.

For example, if your URL is https://app.salsify.com/app/orgs/s-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX/, then your organization ID is s-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Finish Fivetran configuration

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the API key you found in Step 1.
Enter the Organization ID you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your Salsify account.
