Piwik PRO Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Piwik PRO to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Piwik PRO to Fivetran, you need a Piwik PRO (v16 or above) account with API access.

Setup instructions

Generate API credentials

Log in to your Piwik PRO account.
Go to Menu > Profile.
On the navigation menu, click API credentials.
Click Generate new credentials.
Enter a name for your API and click OK.
Make a note of the Client ID and Client secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

Find subdomain

Find your account's subdomain in your Piwik PRO URL and make a note of it. For example, if your Piwik PRO URL is https://workspacename.piwik.pro/login, then your subdomain is workspacename. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configuration

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you found in Step 1.
Enter the Subdomain you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Piwik PRO data.
