Opsgenie Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Opsgenie to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Opsgenie to Fivetran, you need an Opsgenie account with API access.

Find your account region in your Opsgenie site URL:
- If your app is hosted in the US (https://app.opsgenie.com/), the region is api.
- If your app is hosted in the EU (https://app.eu.opsgenie.com), the region is api.eu.
Make a note of the region. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Log in to your Opsgenie account.
Go to Settings > App Settings > API Key Management.
Click Add New API Key.
Enter a name for the API key and select the Read access rights for this API key.
Click Add API Key.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
Enter the Region you found in Step 1.
Enter the API key you created in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Opsgenie data.
