Error: Unknown Host Exception: HTTPS

Issue

Setup tests fail with the following error:

javax.ws.rs.ProcessingException: java.net.UnknownHostException: https

Environment

Connector: Jira

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Jira connection page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. In the Host field, enter only your host name. Do not include http, https, or www. For example, your-company.atlassian.net.
5. Click Save & Test.

Cause

This issue occurs when you provide the full host URL in the Host field instead of only the Jira instance host name.
