Issues Are Missing From the ISSUE Table

Issue

A Jira issue appears in the Jira UI but is missing from the ISSUE table in the destination.

Environment

Connector: Jira

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. In Jira, ensure the authenticating user account has Administer Projects or Browse Projects permission for each project containing missing issues. For more information, see our Jira setup guide.
2. If your connection uses the issue sync mode From selected projects, ensure the projects containing missing issues are selected.
3. In Jira, pin the updated field to the affected issue. For instructions, see the Jira documentation on pinning a field to the top of a work item.
4. In Fivetran, trigger a historical re-sync for the connection. For instructions, see How to Trigger Historical Re-Syncs for Fivetran Connections.

Cause

This issue occurs when:

• The Jira API doesn't return a value for an issue's updated field.
• The authenticating user account lacks the required permissions for the issue's project.
• The issue's project isn't selected in the setup form.
