Freightview Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Freightview to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Freightview to Fivetran, you need a Freightview account.

Log in to your Freightview account.
Find the base URL in your dashboard's URL.
TIP: If the base URL ends with .com, you have a Production account; otherwise, you have a Sandbox account.

On the top right-hand corner of your Freightview dashboard, click your account name.
On the left navigation menu, click API keys.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: You can configure the connector using either the Account API key or the User API key. The data synced by the connector depends on the API key permissions.

In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
Select the Account Type you found in Step 1.
Enter the API Key you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your Freightview account.
