Constant Contact Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Constant Contact to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Constant Contact to Fivetran, you need a Constant Contact account.
Setup instructions
Create application
- Log in to your Constant Contact account.
- Go to the My Applications tab, then click New Application.
- Enter the name of your application.
- Set the Application OAuth2 Settings:
- Choose the OAuth2 flow: Select Authorization Code and Implicit Flow.
- Choose the refresh token type: Select Rotating Refresh Tokens
- Click Create.
- On the App Details page, click Generate Client Secret.
- In the Redirect URI field, enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/constant_contact/oauth2/return
. - Click Save.
- Make a note of the API Key (Client Id) and Client Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret you created.
- Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Constant Contact account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Constant Contact account to authorize Fivetran's access.
- Log in to your Constant Contact account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your constant contact data.
