Buildium Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Buildium to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Buildium to Fivetran, you need a Buildium account with API access.

Log in to your Buildium account.
In the navigation menu, click Settings menu and then select Developer Tools.
Click Create API Key.
Enter a name and description for your API key and then click Continue.
Set the key permissions and then click Continue.
Make a note of the Client ID and Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
(Optional) In the Environment drop-down menu, select your API environment: production or sandbox.
TIP: The Base URLs for the Production and Sandbox environments are https://api.buildium.com and https://apisandbox.buildium.com/ respectively.
Enter the Client ID and Secret you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Buildium data.
