Bazaarvoice Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Bazaarvoice to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Bazaarvoice to Fivetran, you need a Bazaarvoice account.

Find the environment in your Bazaarvoice URL and make a note of it. For example:

If your Bazaarvoice URL is https://stg.api.bazaarvoice.com, then your environment is Staging.
If your Bazaarvoice URL is https://api.bazaarvoice.com, then your environment is Production.

Log in to your Bazaarvoice account.
Click the Settings icon and go to Developer > API.
Click Request API key.
Follow the instructions in the request form to request a new API key. You will receive an email with the API key details.
Get approval for the API key from your organization's technical administrator.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

NOTE: If you are unable to request an API key, contact Bazaarvoice account administrator.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Select the Environment you found.
Enter the API key you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Bazaarvoice data.
