Twitter Organic Setup Guide

Follow our setup guide to connect Twitter to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Twitter to Fivetran, you need:

A Twitter account with access to at least one active Twitter Ads account with ACCOUNT_ADMIN, AD_MANAGER, or CAMPAIGN_ANALYST permissions. Learn more about authenticated user access in Twitter Ads' campaign management documentation.
At least one campaign and one promotable user in the Twitter Ads account.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Click Authorize. You will be redirected to Twitter's login page.
Log in to your Twitter account and click Authorize app to authorize Fivetran's access. You will be redirected back to Fivetran.
Choose your sync mode. If you select Sync Specific Accounts, then select the accounts you want to sync.
Select how many months' worth of reporting data you'd like to include in your initial sync.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Twitter data.
