TikTok Organic Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect TikTok Organic to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect TikTok Organic to Fivetran, you need a TikTok business account
Setup instructions
In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Select your TikTok Organic API environment.
- If your TikTok account is a live account, select Production.
- If your TikTok account is a test account, select Sandbox.
In the Business category field, select the TikTok business categories whose data you want to sync.
In the TikTok API rate limit tier field, select the rate limit tier currently approved for your TikTok developer app.
- Basic (10 requests/second)
- Advanced (20 requests/second)
- Premium (30 requests/second)
- Ultimate (50 requests/second)
In the TikTok for Business developer portal, go to My Apps > App Detail > Authorization and check API rate limiting for your approved tier. Select a higher tier only after TikTok approves it. Choosing an unapproved tier can trigger
429errors and sync failures.Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your TikTok account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your TikTok account to authorize Fivetran's access.
We recommend logging in using incognito mode to ensure you authorize the correct account.
Log in to your TikTok account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your TikTok Organic data.
