Error: Assertion Failed: Shared Setup Bootstrap Is Required

Issue

A collaborator added to authenticate a QuickBooks connection encounters the following error when clicking the link in the invitation email:

Something went wrong. Assertion failed: Shared setup bootstrap is required.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ask the collaborator to do the following:

1. Clear your browser's history, cache, and cookies.
2. Open the email while in Incognito mode or use a different browser.
3. Temporarily disable browser extensions, antivirus software, VPNs, or proxies that may interfere with authorization.

Cause

This error may occur when your browser or network's issues or settings affect authentication.
