Why is there a data mismatch between my source and destination, particularly in the SURVEY_RESPONSE and DISTRIBUTION_CONTACT tables?

Cause
This discrepancy typically occurs when you query your destination tables while a Fivetran sync is still in progress. Fivetran continuously syncs data from Qualtrics, and during an active sync, your destination tables may contain incomplete data.
Resolution
Allow the sync to finish before running queries or generating reports from your destination tables.
To verify sync completion, do the following:
- Navigate to your Qualtrics connector in the Fivetran dashboard.
- Check that the sync status shows Succeeded with a recent timestamp.
- Once confirmed, run your queries against the destination tables.
After the sync completes, your destination data should match the counts shown in your Qualtrics dashboard.
