OpenAI Compliance Platform Setup Guide Private Preview

Follow our setup guide to connect OpenAI Compliance Platform to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect OpenAI Compliance Platform to Fivetran, you need the following:

An OpenAI account with access to the ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace whose data you want to sync
OpenAI Compliance Platform enabled for the workspace
The Owner or Admin role in the workspace
Access to the OpenAI API Platform organization associated with the workspace
The Organization Owner or Project Owner role in the OpenAI API Platform organization to create an API key

Log in to the OpenAI API Platform.
Switch to the organization associated with the ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace whose data you want to sync.
Go to the project you want to use for the connection.
The OpenAI API Platform project you use to create the API key does not determine which ChatGPT workspace data Fivetran syncs. Fivetran syncs Compliance Platform data from the ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace specified by the workspace ID.
On the navigation menu, click API Keys.
Click + Create new secret key.
Enter a Name for the API key.
In the Permissions field, select Read only.
Click Create secret key.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
The API key appears only once after you create it. Make sure you save the key before you close the dialog.

In the OpenAI API Platform, make sure you are in the organization associated with your ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace.
On the navigation menu, click Settings.
Click Organization settings.
Make a note of the Organization ID. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Log in to ChatGPT.
Switch to the ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace that you want to connect to Fivetran.
Click your profile icon and go to Workspace settings > General.
Make a note of the Workspace ID. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
Enter the API key you created.
Enter the Organization ID you found.
Enter the Workspace ID you found.
You can specify multiple workspace IDs as comma-separated values.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your OpenAI Compliance Platform data.
