Error: AADSTS65004 User Declined to Consent to Access the App

Issue

While creating a connection, the following error appears:

AADSTS65004: User declined to consent to access the app

Environment

Connector: Microsoft Advertising

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Microsoft Advertising connection page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Authorize.
4. Ensure you grant Fivetran the necessary access to your account when prompted.
5. If the issue persists, contact Microsoft Support with the error code and a description of the issue.
