Error: 401 Not Authorized

Issue

Connections fail with the following error:

Failed to connect to API Server is not responding with correct response after specific retries and giving status code [401] and status message [{"response_type":"ERROR","response_code":401,"message":"not authorized"}]

Environment

Connector: LearnUpon

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

Contact LearnUpon Support to confirm that your portal uses learnuponus.com for API requests.
In Fivetran, go to your LearnUpon connection page.
Select the Settings tab.
Click Edit connection.
From the Region drop-down menu, select Custom.
In the Custom Region field, enter learnuponus.com.
Click Save & Test.

Not all US-region LearnUpon accounts use learnuponus.com. Confirm the correct API domain with LearnUpon before changing the configuration.

Cause

This issue occurs when your LearnUpon portal uses learnuponus.com for API requests, but the selected US region uses learnupon.com.
