Khoros Communities Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Khoros Communities to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect your Khoros Communities to Fivetran, you need:
- A Khoros Communities account with admin access.
- License with access to use the Bulk Data API.
Setup instructions
Find community domain
Log in to your Khoros Communities account.
Find your community domain from the URL. For example, if your community URL is
https://community.example.com/t5/s/..., your community domain iscommunity.example.com.
Generate client credentials
In your Khoros community homepage, go to Community Admin > Dev Tools.
Click New App and enter the app details.
In the Redirect URI field, enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/khoros_communities/oauth2/return.Click Save.
Make a note of the client ID and client secret.
Find community ID
In your Khoros community homepage, go to Community Analytics.
In the top-right corner of the page, click on your username.
Make a note of your community ID.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Community domain you found.
Enter the Client ID and Client secret you generated.
Enter the Community ID you found.
Click Authorize and log in to your Khoros community account when prompted to grant Fivetran access.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test.
