Error: segments.date Field Is Missing in the Report

Issue

The following error appears while creating a custom report:

segments.date field is missing in the report.

The option to select the segments.date field is not available.

Environment

Connector: Google Ads

Resolution

The segments.date field is mandatory and must be selected first when creating the report.

If you first select the incompatible fields, the segments.date field may not be available. You can test this using the Google Ads Query Builder.
