Error: The Developer Doesn't Have Access to Metrics

Issue

While saving a custom report, the following error appears:

Unable to validate fields. Error: The developer doesn't have access to metrics: auction_insight_search_impression_share

Environment

Connector: Google Ads

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must remove the auction_insight_search_impression_share metric from your custom report configuration.

Cause

The auction_insight_search_impression_share metric is not publicly available through Google's Ads API. For more information, see Google's Ads API Metrics documentation.
