Coupon Redemption Column Not Updated During Incremental Syncs

Issue

The redemptions column in the Chargebee COUPON table is not updated during incremental syncs.

Environment

Connector: Chargebee Product Catalog 1.0

Resolution

To resolve this issue, re-sync the COUPON table:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Chargebee Product Catalog 1.0 connection page.
2. Select the Schema tab.
3. Find the COUPON table, then click Re-sync.
4. In the confirmation pop-up window, click Start re-sync.

If you need consistently up-to-date redemption values, calculate them from related tables, such as INVOICE_DISCOUNT.

Cause

Fivetran uses the updated_at timestamp to detect record changes during incremental syncs. However, Chargebee does not update the coupon record's updated_at timestamp when only the redemptions attribute changes, so Fivetran cannot detect those updates incrementally.
