Warning: At Least One Schema Must Not Be Excluded By the User or System
Issue
Schemas and tables are excluded from syncs. One of the following warnings appears:
At least one schema must not be excluded by the user or system. We are excluding schemas from the sync because we can no longer access them.
Environment
Connector: Airtable
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
- In Fivetran, go to your Airtable connection page.
- Select the Schema tab.
- Review the list of schemas and identify any that have the same or similar names.
- Select the checkbox next to the schema that corresponds to the correct Airtable base, and deselect any duplicates or outdated schemas.
- If you recently renamed a base, confirm that the correct schema is selected and the old schema is disabled.
- Click Save changes.
Cause
This issue occurs when we detect multiple schemas that appear to represent the same Airtable base.
We identify bases using both the display name and base ID. If multiple bases share the same name, or if you rename a base and older schemas remain, we may create multiple schemas that appear identical or very similar in the Schema tab but differ internally.
As a result, schemas may be excluded if one is no longer accessible or if we can't determine which schema should be used.
