Release Notes
August 2024
We now skip formula fields containing the following error codes from the sync to prevent column data type changes in your destination:
#ERROR
invalid formula
NaN
circular reference
infinity
February 2024
Airtable has deprecated support for API key based authentication. All Airtable connectors now use OAuth 2.0 authorization.
Airtable-enterprise connectors switching to OAuth 2.0 will experience a temporary increase in data usage (MAR spike) during the first sync. This is because tables must be re-imported due to lost access to API key webhooks for incremental updates.
After successful OAuth 2.0 authentication, we create new webhooks based on the available source quota for incremental syncs.
September 2023
We now share Airtable webhooks across different Fivetran Airtable connectors. You can now select the same base across more than two connectors. Previously, Airtable webhook limitations allowed to create a maximum of two OAuth webhooks per Airtable base. Each connector created its own webhook, as a result you could only select the same base in a maximum of two Fivetran connectors. We are gradually rolling out this improvement to all existing connectors.
August 2023
OAuth 2.0 authentication is now available for all Airtable connectors.
You can now migrate your existing Airtable connectors from API key-based authentication to OAuth 2.0 authentication. For more information, see our migration instructions.
We now re-import all the selected tables of the base associated with the webhooks if Airtable deletes your payloads from its servers. These re-imports count towards paid MAR.
July 2023
The Airtable connector now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication.
New Airtable connectors created after July 06, 2023, use OAuth 2.0-based authentication. For more information, see our setup instructions.
Existing connectors using API key-based authentication can migrate to OAuth authentication. We are gradually rolling out this feature to all existing connectors. For more information, see our migration instructions.
Airtable has announced the beginning of the deprecation period for API keys. After the deprecation period ends, API keys will no longer be able to access the Airtable API. If you are using API key-based authentication for your connectors, we recommend that you migrate your connectors to OAuth 2.0-based authentication.
October 2022
Airtable attachment URLs shared using the API expire after a couple of hours. Now, you can not access these expired attachment links in your destination. You can use an external storage service such as Dropbox or Google Drive to store the attachments and link the URLs. For more information, see Changes to Airtable attachments.
July 2022
Our Airtable connector is now generally available.
Read our Airtable connector documentation.
May 2022
Our Airtable connector now uses the Airtable Webhooks API. New connectors created after May 13, 2022, will utilize the Webhooks API to read your data. We are gradually migrating the existing connectors to the new API. If you'd like to use this improvement immediately, contact our support team.
June 2021
We now display a warning on your connector dashboard when we detect that Airtable has deleted your payloads.
April 2021
Airtable is an online collaboration platform for creating and sharing relational databases.
