The _fivetran_deleted Column Is Missing From SAP Concur Tables

Issue

The _fivetran_deleted column is missing from tables in a new SAP Concur connection.

Resolution

To add the _fivetran_deleted column to a table, trigger a re-sync for the affected table(s). For instructions, see How to Trigger Historical Re-Syncs.

During the re-sync, Fivetran marks existing parent and child records in the destination as _fivetran_deleted = TRUE. As we process records returned by the source API, we mark them as _fivetran_deleted = FALSE. Records no longer returned by the API remain marked as TRUE, so you can identify stale records.

Weak primary key deletes remain hard deletes for child tables. For more information, see soft delete mode.

Cause

This issue occurs when you haven’t yet run a table-level re-sync for the table.
