You can sync object-level metadata available through the Power BI REST APIs, such as:

• Dataset and report IDs, names, and workspace associations
• Workspace, capacity, dashboard, dataflow, gateway, refresh history, and run history details

However, you cannot sync the underlying business data stored in datasets, semantic models, or reports because the Microsoft Power BI REST APIs do not provide access to this data.

To sync the underlying business data, use Fivetran connectors for the original sources that feed Power BI, such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, or the relevant SaaS applications. This lets you replicate the source tables before Power BI transforms, models, or visualizes the data.
