Does Fivetran Map a Recreated Custom Fields to the Original Destination Column?

Question

If I delete a Kantata custom field and recreate it with the same name, will Fivetran map it to the original destination column?

Answer

If the recreated field has the same name and data type as the deleted field, we map it to the existing destination column and resume syncing data to that column.
