Error: RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED or DEADLINE_EXCEEDED

Issue

Syncs fail. One of the following errors appears:

• RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: gRPC message exceeds maximum size
• DEADLINE_EXCEEDED: Deadline expired before operation could complete

Environment

Connector: Google Search Ads 360

Resolution

To resolve this issue, reduce the number of metrics, attributes, and segments included in each report.

To edit existing reports, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Google Search Ads 360 connector page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Locate the report you want to edit and click Edit.

Cause

This issue occurs when Google's Search Ads 360 API is unable to process our request due to excessive metrics, attributes, or segments included in your report configuration.
