Claude Platform Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Claude Platform to Fivetran.
The Claude Platform connector syncs data from Claude Platform and does not include data from Claude.ai.
Prerequisites
To connect Claude Platform to Fivetran, you need a Claude Console account with Admin role.
Setup instructions
Create Admin API key
Fivetran uses an Admin API key to access and sync organization-level data, such as usage reports, costs, and workspaces, from the Admin API. The Admin API provides only organization-level data and requires an Admin API key for authentication.
Log in to the Claude Console as an Admin.
On the navigation menu, click your profile name and select Organization settings.
On the navigation menu, click Admin keys.
Click + Create admin key.
Enter a name for the API key and click Add.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
The API key appears only once. Make sure you save it before closing the dialog.
Create standard API key
Fivetran uses a standard API key to access and sync workspace-level data, such as files and skills, from the Claude API. The Claude API provides only workspace-level data and requires a standard API key for authentication.
Claude Platform connections are workspace-specific. You cannot use a single connection to sync data from multiple Claude workspaces.
Go to the workspace whose data you want to sync.
On the navigation menu, click Manage > API keys.
Click + Create key.
Verify whether the workspace whose data you want to sync is selected in the Create in Workspace drop-down menu.
Enter a name for the API key and click Add.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
The API key appears only once. Make sure you save it before closing the dialog.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Admin API key you created.
- Enter the standard API key you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Claude Platform data.
