Claude Platform Setup Guide Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Claude Platform to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Claude Platform to Fivetran, you need the following:
- A Claude Console organization account with the Admin, Owner, or Primary Owner role
- Primary Owner access in your Claude Enterprise organization, if you want to sync Claude Enterprise Analytics API data
You need these roles or access permissions only to create the required API keys and access the required workspace settings. Fivetran does not use your Claude Console or Claude Enterprise user role privileges to sync your data.
Setup instructions
Create Admin API key
Fivetran uses an Admin API key to access and sync organization-level management and reporting data, such as usage reports, cost reports, and workspaces, from the Admin API. The Admin API key provides access to organization-level data, but not to workspace-scoped resources, such as files, message batches, or skills.
Log in to the Claude Console as an organization Admin, Owner, or Primary Owner.
On the navigation menu, click your profile name and select Organization settings.
On the navigation menu, click Admin keys.
Click Create admin key.
Enter a name for the API key and click Add.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
The API key appears only once. Make sure you save it before closing the dialog.
(Optional) Create API key for workspace
If you want to sync workspace-level data from a specific Claude workspace, create a standard API key in that workspace. Fivetran uses this key to access and sync workspace-scoped data from that workspace, such as files, message batches, and skills. The key authorizes access to resources within that workspace and does not provide access to organization-level resources, such as workspaces and organization members, that require an Admin API key.
Claude Platform connections are workspace-specific. You cannot use a single connection to sync data from multiple Claude workspaces.
In the Claude Console, go to the workspace whose data you want to sync.
On the navigation menu, click API keys.
Click + Create key.
Enter a name for the API key and click Add.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
The API key appears only once. Make sure you save it before closing the dialog.
(Optional) Create Analytics API key
If you want to sync Claude Enterprise Analytics API data for your Enterprise organization, create an Analytics API key with the read:analytics scope. Fivetran uses this key to access and sync organization-level analytics data across your Claude Enterprise organization, such as user activity, feature usage, and cost metrics.
- The Claude Enterprise Analytics API is available only for Claude Enterprise organizations.
- Analytics data is available starting January 1, 2026.
- Log in to Claude as a Primary Owner in your Enterprise organization.
- Go to the Analytics API page.
- Set the Access toggle to ON.
- Click + Create key.
- Enter a name for the API key.
- Select the read:analytics scope.

- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Claude Platform data.
