Varying Sync Times

Issue

The Amazon Selling Partner connector's average sync time may vary from a few minutes to a few days to complete an incremental sync.

Environment

Connector: Amazon Selling Partner

Resolution

If the data size is small, the sync time will only be a few minutes.

If the data size is large, the requests from Fivetran are throttled upon hitting the threshold, increasing the connector sync time.

You may be able to increase your rate limit by contacting Amazon's support team. See Amazon's documentation for more information.

Cause

The default rate limit for Orders is 0.0167 requests per second. This threshold's consumption is directly proportional to the data size present within the associated marketplaces for the connector. See Amazon's Orders API documentation for more information.
