Gainsight Customer Success Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Gainsight Customer Success to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Gainsight Customer Success to Fivetran, you need an active Gainsight account.
Setup instructions
Find subdomain
Find your subdomain in your Gainsight URL. For example, if your URL is https://fivetran.gainsightcloud.com
, then your subdomain is fivetran
.
Create access key
Log in to your Gainsight account.
On the navigation menu, click Administration. Go to Integrations > Connectors 2.0.
Click Create Connection.
In the Connector drop-down menu, select Gainsight API.
Click Generate Access Key. Make a note of the access key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: If you already have a connection access key, click Edit Connection. Make a note of the access key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Enter the Sub-Domain you found in Step 1.
Enter the Access Key you created in Step 2.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Gainsight Customer Success data.
