Adobe Commerce Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Adobe Commerce to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Adobe Commerce to Fivetran, you need an Adobe Commerce account with Admin permission and a working host.
Setup instructions
Find base URL
- Log in to your Adobe Commerce account.
- On the Admin panel, go to Stores > Settings > Configuration.
- Select General > Web.
- Expand the Base URLs (Secure) section.
- Make a note of the Secure Base URL.
Find host URL
- Edit the base URL you found in Step 1. Add
index.php/restat the end of the URL. For example, if your base URL ishttps://store.fivetran.com, the host URL will behttps://store.fivetran.com/index.php/rest. - Make a note of the host URL. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
(Optional) Generate access token
- Log in to your Adobe Commerce Admin.
- Go to System > Extensions > Integrations.
- Click Add New Integration.
- Enter a name for the integration and your admin password to confirm your identity.
- In the navigation menu, click API and select the resources Fivetran needs access to, or select All for full access.
- Click Save. The integration will appear in the grid with an Inactive status.
- Find the newly created integration and click the Activate link.
- Click Allow.
- Make a note of the access token securely. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
- Click Done.
- Go to Stores > Configuration > Services > OAuth > Consumer Settings and set Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens to Yes.
- Click Save Config.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
Enter the Host URL you found in Step 2.
In the Authentication type drop-down menu, select your authentication type:
Oauth
- Enter your Adobe Commerce Username.
- Enter your Adobe Commerce Password.
Access token
- Enter the Adobe Commerce Access token you generated.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Adobe Commerce data.
