Setup instructions

Log in to your Upland Software account.
Generate your API key.
Make a note of the following:
- Subdomain
- Company Key
- API key
You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
In the Authentication type drop-down menu, select one of the following methods to authenticate your connection:
- API key: Authenticates the connection using an API key
- Basic: Authenticates the connection using the username and password of the Upland Software account associated with the connection
Upland Software has discontinued basic authentication for API requests. You must use the API key authentication method for all new connections. We support basic authentication only for existing connection that are already configured with it, and not for new connections.
Enter the Subdomain and Company key you found.
Depending on the Authentication type you selected for the connection, do one of the following:
- If you selected API key, enter the API key you generated.
- If you selected Basic, enter the Email (username) and Password of the Upland Software account you want Fivetran to use to access your data.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Upland Software data.
