Udemy Business Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Udemy Business to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Udemy Business to Fivetran, you need an Udemy Business account with API access.
NOTE: APIs are only available on Udemy Business's Enterprise plan.
Setup instructions
Find client credentials
- Log in to your Udemy Business account.
- In the top right corner, click Manage > Settings.
- On the navigation menu, click LMS/LXP integrations.
- In the Start set-up drop-down menu, select Other.
- Click Save to enable your API.
- In the LMS/LXP integrations page, find and make a note of the Client ID and Client Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Find account credentials
- On the navigation menu, click API.
- Select either of the API documentation links.
- Go to the Your API Client and Your Account Id section.
- Make a note of your account ID. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
- Find your account name in your Udemy Business URL and make a note of it. For example, if your Udemy Business URL is
https://example.udemy.com/
, then your account name isexample
.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret you found in Step 1.
- Enter the Account ID and Account name you found in Step 2.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Udemy Busines data.
