The Trade Desk Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect The Trade Desk to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect The Trade Desk (TDD) to Fivetran:
You need an active The Trade Desk account.
You need to execute the following documents:
- Access agreement - This is an agreement with you and TTD to allow TTD to send data to Fivetran
- API addendum - There may be an upfront cost attached to the addendum
TTD manages the end-to-end execution of the paperwork. Reach out to your TTD Account Manager to learn more about the paperwork and upfront costs.
You must define report templates in your The Trade Desk account. If you enable report template scheduling in the setup form, Fivetran creates report schedules for the templates you select. The Trade Desk limits partner accounts to 100 schedules.
Setup instructions
In the connection setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
Enter your Trade Desk Login and Password.
Choose your Sync mode: Sync All Accounts or Sync Specific Accounts. If you choose Sync Specific Accounts, you must select the partners you'd like to sync.
(Optional) Select the report templates you want Fivetran to schedule for syncing. Both Standard and Custom The Trade Desk reports are available. When you save the connector, Fivetran creates report schedules in your Trade Desk account for the selected report templates.
Fivetran-created schedules are prefixed with
Fivetran_to distinguish them from schedules you create directly in The Trade Desk. The Trade Desk limits each partner account to 100 report schedules. Fivetran checks this limit before creating new schedules. In the Historical Sync Time Frame drop-down menu, select the number of months' worth of reporting data you'd like to sync.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from The Trade Desk account.
