SmartHR Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect SmartHR to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect SmartHR to Fivetran, you need a SmartHR account with API access and an access token.
NOTE: Contact SmartHR's support team for your API access and access token.
Find subdomain
Find your account's subdomain in your SmartHR URL and make a note of it. For example, if your SmartHR URL is https://fivetran.smarthr.jp
, then your subdomain is fivetran
.
Find environment
Your SmartHR account type determines your environment. If you have:
- a Test account, then you are using the
Sandbox
environment. - a Live account, then you are using the
Production
environment.
Make a note of the environment. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Subdomain that you found.
In the Environment drop-down menu, select the environment you found.
Enter your SmartHR Access Token.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your SmartHR data.
