Prisma Cloud Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Prisma Cloud to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Prisma Cloud to Fivetran, you need the following:
- a Prisma Cloud account
- API access
Setup instructions
Find console URL
- Log in to your Prisma Cloud account.
- Go to Compute > Manage > System > Utilities.
- In the Downloads tab, go to the Path to Console section.
- Make a note of the console URL. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Create access key
On the navigation menu, select Settings > Access Control > Access Keys.
Click Add > Access Key.
Enter a Name for the key and set the Enable Expiration toggle to ON.
NOTE: We do not recommend that you set an expiration for your access key.
In the Access Key Expiration, select the date and time of the expiry.
NOTE: If you do not specify a date, the access key expires after a month.
Click Save.
Make a note of the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: You can click Download .csv file to download the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key as a CSV file.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- In the Admin console URL drop-down menu, select your login URL.
- Enter the Console URL you found.
- Enter the Access key ID and Secret access key you created.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Prisma Cloud data.
